2. Before Use
  • A microSD card must be inserted for recording.
  • External 5V USB-C power is required for operation.
  • The built-in battery only provides short backup to prevent data loss.
3. microSD Card
  • U3 or higher speed microSD card is recommended. Maximum supported capacity: 512GB.
  • First-time use: format the microSD card on a PC. File system must be exFAT or FAT32.
  • Insert the microSD card in the correct direction until fully seated in the slot.

  • Improper insertion or undetected microSD card may cause recording failure or startup issues.
  • Do not remove the microSD card during recording.

4. Power Supply
  • This device only supports 5V USB-C power. Please use a 5V USB adapter or power bank.
  • Ensure the power source is stable and has sufficient capacity for long recording sessions.
  • Unstable power or low battery may cause recording interruption or file corruption.
  • The built-in battery provides backup power during power loss to protect recording files.

5. Camera Operation
Status Operation & LED Indication
Power On
Auto Power On (default):
The device will automatically power on approximately 3 seconds after power is supplied. Blue LED turns on. No sound indication.
Manual Power On (optional via FeedConfig.ini):
When auto power-on is disabled, long press the button for about 3 seconds to power on. Blue LED turns on. No sound indication.
Power Off
Long press the button for about 3 seconds to power off the device. Blue LED turns off. No sound indication.
Recording
Auto Recording (default):
The device will automatically enter recording mode after power on. After about 3 seconds, it gives 2 short beeps (“beep-beep”) and starts recording. During recording, the blue LED flashes slowly (1s interval).
Manual Recording (optional via FeedConfig.ini):
When auto recording is disabled, the device enters standby mode after power on (blue LED solid on).
Short press the button once to start recording. The device gives 2 short beeps (“beep-beep”) and enters recording mode, and the blue LED flashes slowly (1s interval) during recording.
Stop Recording
Stop Recording:
•During recording, short press the button once to stop recording. The device gives 1 long beep (“beep——”), recording stops, and the blue LED returns to solid on (standby mode).
•Or long press the button for about 3 seconds to stop recording and power off. The device gives 1 long beep (“beep——”), recording stops, and the blue LED turns off.
microSD Card Error
When a microSD card error is detected after power on, the blue LED flashes rapidly with 3 short beeps (“beep-beep-beep”).
Low Battery Warning
When the internal battery is low and no external power is connected: 3 short beeps (“beep-beep-beep”) ➔ 2-second interval ➔ repeated warning cycle.
Firmware Upgrade
•During firmware upgrade, the blue LED flashes twice with a 3-second interval for approximately 3 minutes, with no sound indication.
•After upgrade is completed, the device gives 1 long beep (“beep——”) and powers off automatically.

6. USB Connection (Mass Storage / UVC Mode)
  • When a microSD card is inserted and the device is connected to a PC via a data-capable USB-C cable,
    it will enter Mass Storage (U-Disk) mode after power on. Files on the microSD card can be accessed directly from the computer.
  • While connected via USB, the device can be switched to UVC mode by short pressing the button after power on.

Note:

Mass Storage / UVC mode performance may vary depending on the host device, operating system, software, USB-C cable, and power conditions. If the device is not recognized, please try a different USB-C cable or USB port.

7. Configuration File
  • A configuration file named FeedConfig.ini will be automatically generated on the microSD card after the first power on.
  • Users can edit this configuration file via computer/laptop to modify device parameters.
  • For detailed configurable parameters, please refer to the FeedConfig.ini file content.
  • After modification, please save the file and restart the device to apply the configuration.
Notes
  • Incorrect parameter settings may cause abnormal function or failure to take effect.
  • Do not modify unknown parameters.
  • It is recommended to back up the original configuration file before editing.
  • Configuration changes take effect only after device restart.

8. Firmware Update (If Necessary)

Firmware update is not required for normal operation. The device is shipped with a stable and up-to-date firmware version.

Firmware updates shall be performed when specific issues occur or under instructions from technical support.

Before Updating
Update Steps
Step Action
01 Download and extract the firmware package on a computer to obtain the Feed.bin file.
02 Copy the Feed.bin file directly to the root directory of the microSD card.
(do not place it in any folder, and do not rename the file)
03 Insert the microSD card into the device and power it using a stable 5V USB-C power source.
04 After power-on, the device will automatically detect the firmware file on the microSD card and enter update mode.
05 During the update, the blue LED flashes twice with a 3-second interval in a repeating cycle, with no sound indication.
The update takes approximately 3 minutes. Do not disconnect power or perform any other operations during the update.
06 After the update is completed, the device gives 1 long beep (“beep——”) and powers off automatically.
